Datacenter/Storage Specialist

Location: Amsterdam

Salary: €70,000 – €85,000 per year

We’re looking for an experienced Datacenter/Storage Specialist to join a dynamic IT team working across both internal initiatives and external client projects. This is an opportunity for someone who thrives on responsibility, innovation, and solving complex infrastructure challenges with modern solutions.

About the Role

You’ll play a crucial role in delivering end-to-end infrastructure projects, from initial consultancy and design through to implementation and migration. Your work will have real impact—advising clients, shaping technical strategy, and supporting internal expertise development in the areas of datacenter infrastructure, cloud integration, and storage solutions.

• Design and implement storage and backup solutions in VMware and Microsoft environments
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, translating technical complexity into clear, actionable guidance
• Take ownership of internal strategy in cloud infrastructure, data protection, and storage
• Collaborate with highly skilled colleagues in a supportive, knowledge-sharing environment
• Minimum 4 years of experience in datacenter infrastructure, with a strong focus on storage and backup
• Expertise with NAS, primary storage, data protection solutions, and related technologies
• Proven skills in VMware and Microsoft platforms
• Strong communication in both Dutch and English
• A problem-solving mindset and the ability to take initiative and lead
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a high-performing team
